The New Brunswick PSG Ends Current Operations on May 25, 2012
The NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development ends its support for the State-wide Professional Service Groups (PSGs) on Friday, May 25 with the intent to replace them with job clubs in early July 2012. The New Brunswick PSG will end its current operations and vacate our space at the New Brunswick One-Stop Career Center on May 25.
Some State-sponsored resources for PSG members have been curtailed already, such as access to State-supplied computer resources and email accounts.
We will continue to provide training for job seekers until May 25 and services to our members as best we can.
Employers and Recruiters
Without access to the State-sponsored computer resources and accounts, the New Brunswick PSG is no longer able to provide web-based services to employers and recruiters.
We regret the loss of this service and the short notice.
Job Seekers
The New Brunswick PSG will continue to offer its
free training at the One-Stop Career Center until we close on Friday, May 25, 2012. The last
week-long training session started at 10:00 am on Monday, May 14 and covers the following topics: networking, letter and resume writing, telephone skills, interviewing and using the Internet for job searches.
Job seekers are encouraged to visit the One-Stop Career Centers and take advantage of their services.
